She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is said to be getting a second season at Marvel Studios. She-Hulk Season 2 is occurring, according to reliable leaker MyTimeToShineHello on X (previously Twitter), but Marvel won’t start working on it until after the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. The first season of She-Hulk, starring Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner’s cousin and a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered Hulk, was shown on Disney+ every week from August through October 2022. There were several unfinished plots when She-Hulk’s first season concluded, so Season 2 won’t be short on storylines. Jessica Gao, the show’s chief writer, has already stated that she knows where to take the Jade Giantess next, despite the fact that Marvel Studios has not yet made a formal announcement about a second season and most likely won’t for some time. In all honesty, I already knew the direction I wanted the show to take and what the premise would be for the next season when I presented it. She remarked back in August 2022, “I had notions of where it would go from the beginning. “There are many things from the first season that we simply couldn’t get to or had to cut, and it would be really nice for those things to see the light of day once more.”
When She-Hulk’s second season could air on Disney+ is still uncertain. Season 2 might not premiere until after the upcoming two Avengers films, which are said to include the Jade Giantess (at least if Mark Ruffalo is to be believed). Although it’s conceivable that Ruffalo’s information is outdated since that Marvel Studios is rumoured to have fired screenwriters Jeff Loveness and Michael Waldron from Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, respectively. Since May 2 and July 14, respectively, the WGA and SAG-AFTRA have been on strike, respectively, over concerns ranging from limitations on the use of artificial intelligence to fair conditions for remuneration and residuals. Maslany recently responded to remarks made by Disney CEO Bob Iger about how unreasonable the strikers’ demands were, branding Iger as ‘totally out of touch’ with the employees who make his shows happen, who make people watch these shows, who bring viewers to him and him money’. Iger’s remarks on the strike have also been criticised by SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher. The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) and the unions are currently at a stalemate in their negotiations.
