Fans are speculating about Jessica Jones and Luke Cage’s MCU debuts in light of recent photographs of Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter. The major question is if any more Marvel Television actors would follow after Marvel Studios integrated Netflix’s Daredevil cast into the MCU. Two likely Daredevil or Echo possibilities are: Krysten Ritter, who portrayed Jessica Jones, and Mike Colter, who played Luke Cage, make guest appearances in Born Again. Audiences are now speculating once more about whether their Marvel Studios debut is imminent in light of fresh social media images.
Krysten Ritter, who plays Jessica Jones, reignited fan rumours about her and Mike Colter’s MCU crossover when she shared images of them on her Instagram account.
Since the two seem to be pals, this isn’t the first time the actress has posted pictures of herself and the Luke Cage actor together. Yet every time a picture of the pair appears on social media, it prompts speculation about whether they are engaged in some sort of Marvel-related collaboration.
There are reports that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will be looking for Jessica Jones in Echo for Disney+, despite the possibility that social media pictures of the pair are only a reflection of their relationship and nothing more. In addition, Krysten Ritter recently shared pictures of herself working out in a Daredevil t-shirt. Given that production for Daredevil: Born Again is anticipated to start this month, her timing was, to put it mildly, curious. Only time will tell if Mike Colter’s character has truly joined Ritter’s Jones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Colter has admitted that while he’s “comfortable doing what I’m doing” right now, there is “always possibility” for him to return to Luke Cage.
Yet, it’s unlikely that Colter wouldn’t ultimately resume her role as Jessica Jones if Ritter were to do so. Unknown if those are the images’ implied meanings or something else completely. So it’s safe to say that there are still prospects and aspirations for a Jones and Cage MCU reunion.
