Deadline claims that during the first 24 hours of its release, the most recent Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer broke a record by receiving 134.1 million views across all social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook). Since before the COVID-19 epidemic, this was the first Super Bowl trailer to surpass 100M social media views. The last film to do this was F9 in 2020, however despite its release taking place before the pandemic, it still failed to earn the same amount of money as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 became the Super Bowl trailer with the most views according to RelishMix, a firm that tracked the views. For contrast, DC’s The Flash’s trailer had 97.4M views, making it the second-most watched trailer.

As the upcoming entry in the MCU, all eyes are presently focused on Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, but that movie is already facing some very severe criticism.
