Pedro Pascal expressed his enthusiasm to be involved in the film after it was recently reported that he will play The Fantastic Four in Marvel’s new adaptation. Pedro Pascal had an incredible night at the SAG Awards on Saturday. For his part in the popular HBO series The Last of Us, the actor won an Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series award, which he took home with him that evening. Pascal discussed the impending Fantastic Four remake in an interview conducted after the Oscars event, expressing that he is “beyond excited” to play the character.

“It is beyond words to express how thrilled I am. The actor thanked director Matt Shakman and his new co-stars, Vanessa Kirby of The Crown, Joseph Quinn of Stranger Things, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach of The Bear, saying, “There’s nothing more exciting than being in a cast like that.” Pascal said, “We all just want to do our best and share it with the world. To be invited to a family like that is unbelievable.” The actor withheld information on the plot and commencement of production for the next superhero movie. Pedro Pascal looks really excited about the movie and his co-stars. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, his co-star, revealed lately that Pascal set up a group chat for the actors. The actor remarked, “Pedro started it a couple of days ago,” and even if their chat group doesn’t yet have a catchy name, everyone has commented on something. People care about it. Nobody is acting slyly.”

On Valentine’s Day, Marvel released a humorous poster confirming the cast of The Fantastic Four. In addition, there were several hints in the artwork that alluded to the time period of the impending superhero relaunch. The Fantastic Four appears to take place in the 1960s based on the visual aesthetic and the updated title logo. The Thing appears to be reading a 1963 LIFE magazine issue that has President Johnson at the White House in the picture. The Fantastic Four’s history was another topic Ebon Moss-Bachrach sidestepped when speaking with Jimmy Kimmel recently. Moss-Bachrach said, “Yes,” in response to a question about whether the reboot will take place in the 1960s, but she also said, “The image does seem to be from the ’60s.”
