Hugh Jackman, who played Wolverine in the X-Men film series, recently posted a photo on Instagram where he is seen with Shawn Levy, the director of Deadpool 3. In the caption, Jackman hinted at a conversation with Levy that involved talking behind someone’s back, likely referring to his Deadpool co-star Ryan Reynolds. Jackman and Reynolds have a playful feud, and despite their friendship, they often poke fun at each other on social media. Jackman’s upcoming appearance in Deadpool 3 will mark a reunion with Reynolds and an introduction of the characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The photo shows Jackman and Levy holding wine glasses while Reynolds is absent.

In response to a suggestion from Lin-Manuel Miranda about a potential Wolverine musical, actor Hugh Jackman clarified that he has not received any emails from Marvel’s Kevin Feige about such a project. Jackman stated that even if he had come up with an idea, it likely wouldn’t be considered. He reflected on the time before filming Logan, where he knew it was going to be his last time portraying the character, and this helped him give it his all. Despite holding the character close to his heart, Jackman acknowledged that his time as Wolverine is over, and he has informed Ryan Reynolds of this fact, though Reynolds may not believe him.
