Christopher Daniel Barnes, the star of Spider-Man: The Animated Series, has discussed the possibility of a resurrection. The actor is undoubtedly holding out hope for this project, even if nothing has been said about it. Barnes wrote on X, saying, “Hey everyone! I just wanted to express my gratitude for all of the encouragement and support shown for the notion of a Spider-Man 98 comeback! Of course, I would love to take part in such a fantastic project! Sadly, no one has gotten in touch with me about this prospect, and I’m not currently associated with the X-Men 97 program.”

Of course, I would love to take part in such a fantastic project! Sadly, no one has gotten in touch with me about this prospect, and I’m not currently associated with the X-Men 97 program.” The possibility of Spider-Man: The Animated Series receiving its own resurrection in March was also mentioned by X-Men ’97 executive producer Brad Winderbaum, who stated at the time, “We’re doing that right now.”Daredevil: Born Again is now in production in New York; I’m seeing text texts coming in from the set.One of my favorite areas of our universe and fandom is likely to be revisited and revitalized by Spider-Man: The Animated Series, which is likely to happen next. And the answer is, you never know!” Creator of the series John Semper Jr. talked about a rebirth outside of Barnes and Winderbaum, promising a fan, “All they have to do is call me.” I would definitely consider doing that, and I am here.”
Going on to X-Men ’97, former showrunner Beau DeMayo talked about the Spider-Man appearance in “Tolerance is Extinction – Part 1,” mentioning that it was the character played by Christopher Daniel Barnes from Spider-Man: The Animated Series. Prior to this, Winderbaum declared that X-Men: The Animated Series does feature “a lot of fun cameos,” and X-Men ’97 keeps on that tradition, proving that “the potential is always there” for the former program to crossover with Marvel’s other ’90s shows. Furthermore, Winderbaum stated that work on Season 3 has already begun. He said that the production crew is continuing the practice of drawing “so heavily from Chris Claremont’s work,” much as X-Men: The Animated Series did, by “looking at that late ’70s, mid ’70s to early ’90s kind of era.” Plot specifics for Seasons 2 and 3 are presently being kept under wraps.
