The precise day has been set for Charlie Cox’s comeback to donning the Daredevil costume on his own show. Charlie Cox will reprise the title role from the Netflix series in the longest Disney+ series, which is now gearing ready to start production. This would be Cox’s fourth appearance in a Marvel Studios project after Spiderman: No Way Home, She-Hulk, and the upcoming Disney+ Series Echo.

On February 27, 2023, production on the 18-episode Daredevil: Born Again will begin in New York City. With a projected completion date of December 15, 2023, the filming will take close to ten months to complete. This makes it the longest project to film for Marvel, which was to be expected given the quantity of episodes.

Without a doubt, “Daredevil: Born Again” is the longest Disney+ original series ever with 18 episodes in a single season, surpassing Andor Season 1, which had 12 episodes. There are 13 episodes in each season of Daredevil, a Netflix original that is presently available to stream on Disney+.

Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, and Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson are the other members of the returning cast of the series who have been confirmed to return to their roles. Alaqua Cox will return to the Disney+ Hawkeye and the new Echo series, both of which are expected to debut this year, as Maya Lopez, aka Echo. The characters of Michael Gandolfini, Colin Woodell, Margarita Levieva, and Sandrine Holt, who make up the remaining cast, have not yet been disclosed. There is no official word yet about Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page playing the part again.

“Daredevil: Born Again,” which is set in the Multiverse narrative, will follow Cox’s titular Daredevil, who is actually Matt Murdock, an attorney by day and a Hell’s Kitchen crimefighter by night. According to reports, the programme will carry on the plot of the upcoming Disney+ series Echo.

With Kevin Feige and Chris Gary serving as producers, the new series is created by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, who also serve as executive producers. According to reports, “Daredevil: Born Again” is a gentle reboot of the three seasons of Netflix’s Daredevil that are now available on Disney+. Additionally, this Disney+ series won’t have the same TV-MA rating as the previous three seasons, which will reduce the amount of blood and gore in it. However, the show will undoubtedly have Daredevil action and will primarily centre on Matt Murdock’s lawyer persona.

Despite being scheduled to hit theatres in the spring of 2024, “Daredevil: Born Again” will probably air in the later half of the year.
