It has been confirmed through recently leaked set images from Daredevil: Born Again that Matt Murdock will be dating someone new in the forthcoming Disney+ series. The set photographs, which were posted on X by @ddcastarchive, show Charlie Cox kissing actor Margarita Levieva while portraying Matt Murdock. Though Levieva had previously been connected to the part of Heather Glenn in Born Again, Marvel Studios has not yet revealed who Levieva has been cast to portray. A reliable source revealed in September 2023 that Levieva would be portraying Heather Glenn, which Marvel has recast as Wilson and Vanessa Fisk’s therapist, rather than the comics’ depiction of the New York City socialite. She and Matt would be living together, but no more information was disclosed at the time.
The Disney+ series Born Again is expected to carry on stories from the Marvel Spotlight series Echo, including Kingpin’s bid for mayor of New York City, however specifics of the narrative are still being withheld. Vincent D’Onofrio, who portrayed the beloved antagonist in the MCU series Daredevil, Hawkeye, and Echo, is returning as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. Sandrine Holt, who plays Vanessa, Wilson Fisk’s wife, will accompany him. Ayelet Zurer, who portrayed the character in the Netflix series, is replaced in the role by Holt.
