The Marvel rumour tracker is our public scorecard. Anyone can shout a leak; almost nobody keeps the receipts. We do. A high score does not mean “true” and a low score does not mean “false”, it is our read on how likely a claim is to hold up, based on the source, whether anyone else corroborates it, and how the category tends to age (merch leaks are reliable, full plot leaks rarely are).

How we score a Marvel rumour
Every rumour in the tracker gets a number out of 10. Here is what the bands mean:
- 8 to 10: multiple credible sources or an official-adjacent signal. We would be surprised if it is wrong.
- 5 to 7: a single credible source or a reliable category (merch, runtimes, box office). Lean yes, but wait for confirmation.
- 3 to 4: unverified single-source claim or a shaky category (full plot leaks). Interesting, not bankable.
- 1 to 2: pure fan theory or chatter with nothing behind it.
When a rumour is officially confirmed or clearly debunked, we do not quietly delete it, we update the row and keep the history. Being wrong in public and owning it is the entire trust game.
