A new teaser for The Marvels has been published by Marvel Studios, recounting the experiences the three main characters have had in the MCU thus far. The film takes Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) viewers on a walk down memory lane, reminding them of the origins of Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), and Monica Rambeau’s talents as well as their friendship. The teaser also includes some fresh material, which hints that there may be some friction between Monica and Carol. This tension is probably a result of Carol’s failure to keep a promise she made to Monica as a young girl to return to Earth before the events of Avengers: Endgame. Following their various exploits in Captain Marvel, WandaVision, Ms. Marvel, and Secret Invasion, respectively, Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), Kamala Khan (Vellani), and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) are the main characters of The Marvels. In the future MCU installment, Nick Fury assists in putting together the three female superheroes, whose powers have intertwined in some way, causing them to switch places anytime they use their powers. The Kree supervillain Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton), who wields an Accusers’ hammer, must also be defeated by the three.

Their capabilities have become entwined, causing them to switch places anytime they utilise their talents. The team also has to deal with Dar-Benn, a Kree supervillain wielding an Accusers’ hammer, played by Zawe Ashton. “Little Ms. Marvel has this ideal view of Carol Danvers,” the source continued, “and to see that stripped back and Ms. Marvel get to know her hero for who she actually is was an interesting deconstruction that really warmed our hearts.”

Online rumours about The Marvels’ length have appeared as the movie’s theatrical debut approaches. The Marvels is just 93 minutes long, according to Cryptic HD Quality, who has previously accurately forecasted the running times of other Disney movies. If accurate, this would make The Marvels the shortest MCU film to date. The Incredible Hulk and Thor: The Dark World, which both had runtimes of 112 minutes, now hold the record for the shortest MCU films. The rumoured length of The Marvels was also confirmed by reliable insider CanWeGetSomeToast, who stated that the film is “all killer, no filler.” Fans should take the report with a grain of salt for the time being, though, as Marvel has not officially confirmed the duration.
